I liked the group of people I worked with and being able to teach kids.
What I wish was different
I think if we had been able to add input into lesson plans and be more flexible with that.
Advice
It’s a great opportunity to teach as well as learn about marine science more. I learned a lot while being an instructor.

What I liked
I loved the job itself-teaching, interacting, and working with kids on a more in-depth level was great. The subject matter was also extremely interesting to me, so it naturally was a fun job!
What I wish was different
I wish I would have done a full-time instructor position instead of combining part-time instruction and being a resident assistant.
Advice
It's only a few months, but you learn so much while teaching! Absorb everything you can.
