Advice

This job requires flexibility. Aside form answer emails and phone calls, there isn't set tasks for each day. There are different projects with different demands each week.

The insight I got into working in a research lab was amazing. I loved learning about the studies.

I really didn't like working from home. I was left to my own devices for a lot of the internship, would have loved to have more interactions

Demand feedback and try to communicate a lot, that will reduce frustrations and misunderstandings.

What I liked

I was accepted for Summer REU program at University of Pennsylvania 2018. It was 10 week long program which I thoroughly enjoyed. I got to travel and explore Philly with fellow research students. I worked on osmolytes for my research project. I developed very good relationship with my mentor who helped me in many ways in the Laboratory.

What I wish was different

I dont wish anything to be different as I enjoyed my experience very much.

I would like to give advice to fellow students that apply everywhere you could because you never know where destiny and your hard work can take you.
